Advanced Acoustics - Studio Acoustic Treatment

The Wave tiles are available in two designs, the Mono Wave and the Multi Wave. Both can be mixed together to create a room that is not only visually outstanding but also acoustically acceptable with even absorption along a wide frequency range. The tile size is 30" (762mm) by 30" (762mm). The tiles have a base of 2" (50mm) and boast a peak height of 4" resulting in outstanding performance. Because of the profile of the tiles they absorb along the whole frequency range. This creates balanced absorption along the full bandwidth especially at low frequencies where it is more difficult to treat. Because of the shape of the tile there is a larger surface area than other acoustic tiles. This is done without cutting down on foam thickness resulting in the unwanted reflections being soaked up much easier and without the need for so many tiles on the walls and ceiling. This leaves some of the walls exposed to help keep the room a little 'live' and add colour. They have an NRC of 0.55 at 2" and 0.85 at 4". Each pack contains 6 tiles covering an area of 37.5 square feet (3.48sqm). Available in charcoal grey only. The foam has a density of 32kg/m3. All prices include V.A.T.
