The SilentFence Acoustic Gate is designed to complement a run of SilentFence Acoustic Fencing panels, maintaining acoustic continuity across the full boundary. Constructed from the same interlocking triangulated timber boards as the fence panel, the gate provides a consistent barrier against airborne noise whether used as part of a fencing system or as a stand-alone gate for a side passage or access point.
Each gate is made from smooth-planed natural timber, pressure treated with a 15-year anti-rot guarantee. At 45mm thick and 900mm wide, it is a robust, full-height gate that integrates seamlessly with the SilentFence panel system in both vertical and horizontal board orientations. Timber is 70% PEFC certified, sourced from sustainably managed forests.

Installation
Hang the gate using appropriate gate hardware rated for the weight of the gate (21kg). Ensure the gate post is set securely in concrete and is plumb before hanging. For optimum acoustic performance, minimise the gap between the gate and the post, and between the gate and the ground. Where the gate adjoins a SilentFence panel run, ensure the panel-to-gate junction is as tight as practical to avoid creating a flanking path for noise.
