Maximum Impact Noise Reduction for Concrete Floors (Bonded LVT)

Our Pro Concrete Floor Soundproofing System – bonded LVT is our highest performance concrete floor build-up for customers who want maximum impact noise reduction such as footfall and vibration, with a stronger improvement in airborne noise compared to thinner systems. This Pro-tier build-up uses 10kg MLV combined with a thick 10mm Terrac Rubber layer, a heavy-duty overlay and SIlentCork3 Underlay.

To make things easier, our online calculator works out the quantities required for your project, with an additional 5% already allowed for waste.

Designed for Concrete Floors with a Bonded LVT Finish (Pro Tier)

Concrete floors are typically strong for airborne sound, but impact noise can still travel very efficiently through the structure. Our Pro Concrete Floor Soundproofing System – Bonded LVT is designed to deliver the best impact noise reduction we offer for concrete floors, using thicker isolation and a heavier overlay board.

The build-up consists of:

  • 1 layer of 10kg MLV (Soundproofing Mat)
  • 10mm Terrac Underlayment
  • 22mm STS TG4 Acoustic Floorboard
  • SilentCork 3 Underlay
  • Everbuild AC95 Acoustic Sealant
  • Jointing Tape
  • Contact Adhesive

The finished build-up is approximately 40mm overall.

Important Supply Information

All components required for this system are supplied by us as part of the calculator output.

How the System Works

This system combines mass and high-level impact isolation:

  • 10kg MLV adds mass to help reduce sound transmission
  • 10mm Terrac provides maximum impact isolation within this product family
  • 22mm STS TG4 creates a heavier, stiffer overlay deck for improved performance and stability
  • SilentCork3 improves impact reduction and comfort under bonded LVT
  • Acoustic Sealant and Jointing Tape help reduce sound leakage through joints and perimeter gaps

What We Supply

The system calculator works out the estimated quantities required for the soundproofing materials we supply, including:

We also include an additional 5% allowance for waste in the calculated quantities.
