Anti-Vibration Isolation Pad | 600 × 600mm | 22mm

The Anti-Vibration Isolation Pad is a two-layer composite product designed to isolate vibration from domestic appliances and light equipment at floor level. It consists of a 10mm recycled rubber crumb layer bonded to a 12mm Moisture Resistant MDF board, supplied as a single ready-to-install unit.

The rubber layer absorbs point-load vibration at source. The bonded MDF board distributes the appliance load evenly across the rubber surface, preventing uneven compression that would reduce isolation effectiveness and create resonant contact points with the floor. Supplying both layers as a factory-bonded composite eliminates the need to source and align separate materials on site. Each pad covers 0.36m² and is rated for appliances up to 100kg.

Applications

  • Washing machines and tumble dryers — place rubber-side down beneath the appliance to isolate spin cycle vibration from the floor structure. Effective for both timber and concrete subfloors where vibration transmission to adjacent rooms or floors below is a concern.
  • Gym and fitness equipment — suitable for treadmills, cross trainers, and similar equipment where motor and impact vibration transfers through the floor. Multiple pads can be butted together to create a larger platform to suit the equipment footprint — tape the joins on the MDF surface with black cloth tape to hold the configuration in place.
  • American-style fridge freezers and domestic HVAC — isolates compressor vibration from the floor, reducing low-frequency hum transmitted through the structure to adjacent spaces.
  • Small compressors and pumps — suitable for light machinery and domestic plant where vibration isolation is required without a full isolation platform. For heavier-duty or custom-dimension requirements, contact us for a bespoke specification.

Product Benefits

  • Factory-bonded composite — no additional materials required. The rubber crumb layer and MDF board are bonded at manufacture and supplied as a single unit. No separate board, adhesive, or fixings are needed on site.
  • 10mm recycled rubber crumb layer. UK-sourced, post-industrial recycled rubber crumb compound at 750kg/m3 — the same specification used across the Advanced Acoustics soundproofing range. Independently tested for vibration isolation performance.
  • 12mm Moisture Resistant MDF board. The rigid board layer distributes appliance load evenly across the rubber surface, maintaining consistent compression and isolation performance across the full pad area.  The MDF board can be painted to match the appliance if desired.
  • Rated to 100kg. Suitable for most domestic washing machines, tumble dryers, and fitness equipment within this load limit.
  • 600 × 600mm — 22mm total thickness. Compact footprint suitable for most domestic appliances. Pads can be butted together for larger equipment. Custom dimensions and a 20mm heavy-duty option for commercial and industrial applications are available on request.

Installation

Place the pad rubber-side down on the floor. Position the appliance centrally on the MDF surface. No adhesive, fixings, or additional materials are required. For larger equipment footprints, butt multiple pads together and tape the joins on the MDF surface with black cloth tape to hold the configuration in place before positioning the appliance.
