The Advanced Acoustics Original Corner Bass Trap 3ft is a 915mm open-cell polyurethane acoustic foam bass trap in a precision CNC-cut profile, measuring 305mm × 305mm × 915mm (12" × 12" × 36"). The bass trap is designed for corner installation — vertical orientation in wall-wall corners and horizontal orientation in wall-ceiling corners — where low-frequency energy accumulates. The 3ft length is a modular unit that can be installed singly or stacked to build the required corner coverage.
Equivalent Absorption Area per object: 0.1 at 50Hz, 0.3 at 63Hz, 0.2 at 80Hz, 0.5 at 100Hz, 0.6 at 125Hz, and 0.9 at 160Hz. The additional length over the 2ft version delivers stronger low-frequency absorption at the top of the measured range — 0.9 at 160Hz versus 0.5 for the 2ft, 0.6 at 125Hz versus 0.4. The Original profile pairs with the Slider 12" tile family, allowing the bass trap to be installed alongside Slider wall tiles for a coordinated acoustic treatment with a consistent visual finish across walls and corners. Installation
Install the Original Corner Bass Trap 3ft in the room corners — vertical orientation in the wall-wall corners and horizontal orientation in the wall-ceiling corners — where low-frequency energy accumulates. The 3ft length can be installed singly or stacked to build the required corner coverage. Fix using Advanced Acoustics Contact Adhesive applied to both the rear face of the trap and the corner surface. Allow the adhesive to become touch-dry before bringing the surfaces together — contact adhesive bonds on contact, so position the trap carefully before pressing it into the corner. Ensure adequate ventilation throughout installation — the adhesive is solvent-based.
