The Advanced Acoustics A.M.I PRO Speaker Isolation Pads (Sloped) are precision cut foam isolation pads designed to decouple studio monitors from the desk, console bridge, or shelf surface they rest on while angling the monitor toward the listening position. Each pack contains 4 pads, providing isolation for 2 monitors. Each pad measures 355mm × 115mm (14" × 4½"), tapering from 25mm at one end to 45mm at the other (1" to 1¾"), and is rated at 250N foam hardness.
The sloped profile angles the monitor tweeter toward ear level — the pad orientation determines the direction of tilt: narrow end to the rear angles the monitor upward, suited to monitors sitting below ear level; narrow end to the front angles the monitor downward, suited to monitors sitting above ear level such as on a meter bridge or high shelf. Applications
Studio monitors — desk isolation with adjustable angle.
When studio monitors sit on a desk surface below ear level, the tweeter axis points below the listening position. Placing the pads with the narrow end to the rear raises the back of the monitor, angling the tweeter upward toward ear level. When monitors are positioned above ear level — on a meter bridge, high shelf, or speaker stand — reversing the pad orientation (narrow end to the front) angles the tweeter downward toward the listening position. In both configurations, the compliant foam layer interrupts the vibration path between the monitor cabinet and the surface, reducing vibration coupling and resonances that affect low-frequency accuracy at the monitoring position.
Home studios and broadcast environments — angle correction and isolation.
In home studio and broadcast environments where monitors sit on desks or lower surfaces relative to the listening position, the Sloped pads provide both vibration isolation and tweeter angle correction in a single pad. Where the monitor tweeter is already at ear level or a level platform is preferred, the A.M.I PRO Flat pads are the appropriate alternative.

Installation
Place the two pads side by side under each monitor. Orient both pads with the narrow (25mm) end toward the rear for an upward angle — suited to monitors sitting below ear level. Reverse the orientation with the narrow end toward the front for a downward angle — suited to monitors sitting above ear level. No adhesive or fixings are required — the weight of the monitor holds the pads in position. Ensure the monitor sits stably on both pads and the angle is appropriate for the listening position before use.
