Advanced Acoustics 2" Tegular Acoustic Foam Suspended Ceiling Tile Pack
The Advanced Acoustics Tegular 2" Suspended Ceiling Tile is a 54mm open-cell polyurethane acoustic foam tile with a plain face and 45-degree bevel cut on all four sides, measuring 595mm × 595mm — the standard suspended ceiling grid dimension. The tile achieves NRC 0.95 (Sound Absorption Class B), providing high-performance broadband absorption across the mid and high frequency range. Each pack contains 6 tiles, covering 2.16m² of ceiling surface. Absorption: 0.51 at 250Hz, 1.01 at 500Hz, 1.12 at 1kHz, 1.09 at 2kHz, and 1.15 at 4kHz.
The tile is designed to drop directly into an existing suspended ceiling grid in place of standard ceiling tiles, providing acoustic treatment without structural modification to the ceiling. The Tegular profile produces a clean, grid-like pattern with a defined joint line between tiles. Available in Mid Grey and Dark Grey. Manufactured in the UK.
Applications
Recording studios and control rooms — ceiling plane treatment.
The ceiling plane is a primary reflection surface in recording and control rooms, and treating it addresses the reflections that would otherwise reach the recording and monitoring position from above. The Tegular 2" provides Class B broadband absorption at the ceiling plane, complementing wall tile treatment. The drop-in format allows the ceiling to be treated without removing or modifying the existing grid.

The 1.01 at 500Hz delivers strong lower-mid frequency performance. Where stronger low-frequency absorption is required at the ceiling plane, the Tegular 3" Suspended Ceiling Tile (0.73 at 250Hz) provides Class A performance at greater depth.
Drop-in suspended ceiling format — 595mm × 595mm.
The 595mm × 595mm dimension matches the standard suspended ceiling grid module, allowing the tile to drop directly into an existing grid in place of standard ceiling tiles. No structural modification to the ceiling is required. The Tegular profile — a plain flat face with a 45-degree bevel cut on all four sides — produces a clean, grid-like pattern consistent with a suspended ceiling installation.

Installation
The Tegular 2" Suspended Ceiling Tile is designed to drop directly into an existing standard suspended ceiling grid in place of the existing ceiling tiles. No adhesive is required; the tile is held in place by the grid. Due to the weight of the tiles (11kg per pack), increasing the number of wire supports supporting the ceiling grid is recommended to accommodate the additional load.
