Advanced Acoustics 15" x 15" Wedge Euphonic PRO Acoustic Studio Foam Tile Pack
The Advanced Acoustics Euphonic Wedge PRO is a mixed-profile acoustic foam tile pack containing two complementary tile formats — a precision CNC-cut 75mm wedge profile and a 75mm plain-face tile with a 45-degree bevel cut on all four sides — each measuring 381mm × 381mm (15" × 15"). Each pack contains 12 tiles of each profile, 24 tiles in total, covering 3.48m² (37.5sqft) of wall or ceiling surface.
The combination of the two profiles at 75mm depth delivers NRC 0.95 (Sound Absorption Class A), with strong low-frequency performance and consistent absorption from 500Hz upward: 0.65 at 250Hz, 0.98 at 500Hz, 1.05 at 1kHz, 1.14 at 2kHz, and 1.15 at 4kHz. The 0.65 at 250Hz delivers strong low-mid absorption, moving the pack up to Class A as a result of the improved low-frequency performance over the Euphonic Wedge Standard (0.36 at 250Hz). The mixed-profile format produces a varied surface texture — alternating between the directional wedge and the clean, flat-face bevel. Available in Mid Grey and Dark Grey. Manufactured in the UK.
Applications
Professional recording studios and control rooms — Class A broadband treatment.
The Euphonic Wedge PRO at NRC 0.95 (Class A) provides comprehensive broadband absorption across the full mid and high frequency range, with the 0.65 at 250Hz delivering strong low-mid frequency performance. Suited to professional studios and control rooms where thorough treatment including the low-mid range is required. The 3.48m² coverage per pack suits the larger wall surfaces of professional studio environments. Install on primary reflection points and extend coverage as required. Use the Coverage Calculator to determine the number of packs required.
Rehearsal rooms and live rooms — low-mid frequency control.
The 75mm depth's stronger absorption at 250Hz addresses the low-mid frequency energy that contributes to muddiness in musical performance, reducing reverberation time and improving clarity for musicians. The mixed-profile format and 3.48m² coverage per pack suit the larger wall areas typical of rehearsal and live room environments.
Vocal booths and isolation rooms — comprehensive vocal range treatment.
The 75mm depth provides absorption across the full vocal frequency range, from the 0.65 at 250Hz low-mid performance through to the 1.15 at 4kHz high-frequency performance. The comprehensive frequency coverage helps control the low-frequency build-up common in small enclosed spaces while delivering clean vocal capture across the fundamental and harmonic frequencies. The mixed wedge and bevel profile suits vocal booth installations where a refined visual finish is preferred.
Product Benefits
NRC 0.95 / Sound Absorption Class A — strong broadband absorption with Class A low-frequency performance.
The mixed wedge and bevelled Tegular profile combination at 75mm depth achieves NRC 0.95 (Class A), with absorption of 0.65 at 250Hz, 0.98 at 500Hz, 1.05 at 1000Hz, 1.14 at 2000Hz, and 1.15 at 4000Hz. The 0.65 at 250Hz delivers strong low-mid frequency absorption — an improvement over the Euphonic Wedge Standard (0.36 at 250Hz) — which moves the pack up to Class A. The PRO is the appropriate specification where low-mid frequency absorption is part of the acoustic requirement alongside mid and high frequency control.
Mixed profile — 75mm wedge and 75mm plain-face bevel in a single pack.
Each pack contains 12 tiles in the classic 75mm wedge profile and 12 tiles in a 75mm plain-face format with a 45-degree bevel cut on all four sides. The two profiles are designed to be installed together, alternating across the treatment area to create a varied surface texture. Both tile formats are CNC cut to consistent dimensions, ensuring accurate alignment across the mixed installation.
Large 15" format — 3.48m² coverage per pack.
Each pack contains 24 tiles (12 wedge, 12 bevel) at 381mm × 381mm, providing 3.48m² (37.5sqft) of coverage. The 15" format covers more wall area per tile than smaller formats, making it efficient for treating larger wall surfaces. Use the Coverage Calculator to determine the number of packs required for your room dimensions and type before ordering.
Specification and compliance.
30kg/m³ foam density. Crib 5 and Schedule 1, Part 1 of the Furnishings and Furniture (Fire)(Safety) Regulations 1988 (amended 1989). Tile size 381mm × 381mm × 75mm (15" × 15" × 3"). 24 tiles per pack, 3.48m² (37.5sqft) coverage. Mid Grey and Dark Grey. Manufactured in the UK and shipped uncompressed from stock.
Installation
Plan the tile layout before beginning installation. Sketch the intended pattern on paper and mark the layout on the wall or ceiling surface using pencil, masking tape, or a laser level. When installing the mixed profile, alternate wedge and bevel tiles across the surface for an even distribution of both profiles. Distribute tiles evenly across the treatment area rather than concentrating them in a single large cluster; even distribution provides more consistent absorption coverage across the room.
Apply Advanced Acoustics Contact Adhesive to both the back of the tile and the mounting surface. Apply a band of adhesive around the perimeter of the tile and 50–75% coverage of the remaining surface area; repeat the equivalent coverage on the wall. Allow the adhesive to become touch-dry before bringing the surfaces together — contact adhesive bonds on contact, so position the tile carefully before pressing it to the wall. Avoid overspray onto the tile face or surrounding wall surface; use masking tape on the wall to protect adjacent areas. If adhesive webbing contacts the tile face, allow it to dry fully before attempting to remove it — in most cases it can be peeled away cleanly once dry. The adhesive is solvent-based. Ensure adequate ventilation throughout the installation — keep doors and windows open.
For a temporary or demountable installation, mount tiles onto 6mm MDF or plywood sheet to create panels, then hang the panels using D-rings and picture hooks. For ceiling-mounted panels, use four mirror plates per panel. This approach allows panels to be removed and repositioned without damage to the wall or ceiling surface.
