Office Acoustics Acoustic Panel Range

The Advanced Acoustics Office Acoustic Panel Range covers the full specification of fabric-wrapped acoustic panels for commercial and educational environments — from standard SoundControl wall-mounted panels in 1" and 2" foam depths, to ceiling-mounted and ceiling-suspended formats, to the Designer Range of shaped and circular panels including the Cloud9, Barracuda, Seagull, and Kubrick profiles. All the office acoustic panels are constructed from fire-rated open-cell acoustic foam wrapped in a 100% recycled open-weave polyester cloth, available in 31 colours, and are handmade to order in the UK with a 2–3 week lead time.

Office Acoustics Acoustic Panel Range

SoundControl Range — Wall Mounted

The SoundControl wall-mounted panels are the core specification panel in the Advanced Acoustics range, available in 1" (25mm) and 2" (50mm) foam depths and three standard sizes: 2ft × 2ft, 2ft × 3ft, and 2ft × 4ft. The 1" panel achieves NRC 0.75 (Sound Absorption Class C), providing effective mid and high frequency absorption suited to offices, meeting rooms, and educational environments where speech-frequency reverberation control is the primary requirement. The 2" panel achieves NRC 1.00 (Sound Absorption Class A), with significantly improved low-frequency performance (0.61 at 250Hz vs 0.30 for the 1" panel), making it the appropriate specification where broadband reverberation control — including low-mid frequencies — is required. Both panels are fixed to the wall surface using mirror plate fixings supplied with the panel.

SoundControl Range — Ceiling Mounted

The SoundControl ceiling-mounted panels are identical in construction to the wall-mounted range and are fixed directly to the ceiling surface using mirror plate fixings. Available in 1" and 2" foam depths and three standard sizes: 2ft × 2ft, 2ft × 3ft, and 2ft × 4ft. Ceiling-mounted panels treat reverberation from above, complementing wall-mounted panels and providing absorption coverage across the ceiling plane. The 2" ceiling-mounted panel is the appropriate specification where low-mid frequency absorption at the ceiling plane is required alongside mid and high frequency control.

SoundControl Range — Ceiling Suspended

The SoundControl ceiling-suspended panels are designed to hang from the ceiling on 1.5mm steel wire rope, suspending the panel below the ceiling surface. The suspended format treats reverberation from both faces of the panel simultaneously, increasing the effective absorption per panel relative to a surface-mounted installation of the same size. Available in 1" and 2" foam depths and three standard sizes: 2ft × 2ft, 2ft × 3ft, and 2ft × 4ft. Suspended panels are particularly suited to spaces with high or inaccessible ceilings where surface-mounted fixing is impractical. Suspension components (wire rope and loop clamps) are available separately.

Designer Range — Ceiling Mounted

The Designer Range ceiling-mounted panels are shaped and circular acoustic panels designed to be fixed directly to the ceiling surface, providing acoustic absorption alongside a distinctive visual installation. The range includes the Cloud9 circular panels (60cm, 80cm, and 100cm diameter), the Barracuda scale-profile panel (800 × 770mm), the Seagull bird-silhouette panel (480 × 480mm), and the Kubrick geometric panel (690 × 1200mm). All Designer Range panels use a 25mm open-cell acoustic foam core achieving NRC 0.75 (Sound Absorption Class C), wrapped in a 100% recycled open-weave polyester cloth available in 31 colours. Mirror plate fixings are supplied with each panel.

Designer Range — Ceiling Suspended

The Designer Range ceiling-suspended panels are shaped and circular acoustic panels designed to hang from the ceiling on steel wire rope, creating three-dimensional acoustic installations below the ceiling surface. The range includes the Cloud9 circular panels (60cm, 80cm, and 100cm diameter) and the Barracuda scale-profile panel. The suspended format exposes both panel faces to the room, increasing effective absorption relative to a surface-mounted installation. Panels are suited to spaces with high or inaccessible ceilings and to environments where the visual presence of suspended panels contributes to the interior design. Suspension components are available separately.

Construction and Compliance

All panels across the Office Acoustic Panel Range share a common construction specification: Class '0' open-cell acoustic foam core (BS 476 Parts 6 and 7; C s1, d0 to EN 13501-1), rigid MDF or backing board substrate, and 100% recycled open-weave polyester cloth wrap. The open-weave fabric maintains full acoustic transparency across all 31 colour options. All panels are handmade to order in the Advanced Acoustics UK facility with a 2–3 week lead time.
